Egypt is a super sweet, very mannerly and social young adult female Shepherd mix that is tan with a little smokey color over her back and face and white on her chest and feet. She is a small/medium sized Shepherd mix of around 25 pounds that will make a great inside/outside dog. Egypt is house trained and leash trained. She was previously adopted by a family with several small children and reportedly was a great family pet and gentle with everyone including the babies of the family, but she was returned to our shelter after an unfortunate incident in which she slipped out of her yard and chased and bit a man who was riding a bicycle through her neighborhood. We understand from the adoptive family that Egypt was never aggressive towards people when contained in her yard, on a leash, or in the home. Egypt has tested positive for heart worms but has already received several months treatment with Advantage Multi, a topical flea/heart worm preventative that is expected to clear heart worms within 6-24 months.
