Bella is a 4 year old spayed female Dachshund/Chihuahua mix ("Chiweinie") that is tan with a little white on her chest. She is a social and affectionate girl that is mannerly on a leash. Bella has tested positive for heart worms but appears to be very healthy and has already been started on monthly applications of Advantage Multi, a topical flea and heart worm preventative that is expected to clear heart worms in 6 - 24 months. Her adoptive family will need to either continue monthly applications of Advantage Multi or speak to their veterinarian to develop another plan for heart worm treatment/prevention.
